ancient sun bracelet

this piece was one of two made for a recent exhibition, where I explored the theme of australia's beautiful but harsh nature

this piece brings me straight to red earth camping in central australia; catching every intense sunrise and sunset and seeing every possible shade of warmth imagineable 

the blistering sun, the twinkling stars wide open skies, we are truly so lucky

I created this strong, ancient-shaped, harshly textured sun in solid gold to hold as the centrepiece of this extra special design. I created each link of the chain and assembled the bracelet before then setting 12 sunset-hued aussie sapphires from the northern territory

this piece is entirely solid recycled 9k gold and the stones are natural, ethically mined and cut from right here in aus

it is adjustable from 17.7cm - 21cm (please email if you would need it smaller or larger than these measurements)
